The Promise

Sorry my blog family, I have been down for a few days. I am feeling a little better though.

looking back to the Old Testament we can notice that God called some of the most prominent leaders in the bible days to place that were unfamiliar yo them. All God promised them was that He would bless them. Take Abraham for example, God told him to get out of his country, leave his fathers house, and get away from your kindred. the only promise that God gave Abram was that he would bless those that blessed him and that he would curse those that would curse him, and that he would make him a great nation. the problem came in when Abram looked at his age, he was 75 years old.

God Called Abram out of the familiar land of his land where he grew up and knew everyone to an unspecific place to do an unspecific thing for God's glory. Turns out that Abram listens to the Lords call and is obedient to his voice. In doing this Abraham becomes the Father of many nations. God wants us to be obedient to His call and to his voice no matter what the situation appears to look like. He will not leave us nor forsake us.

With is being obedient we can know that the same promise that was on the life of Abraham is still valid today for us as believers. That God will bless those who bless us and that he will curse those who curse us. So speak encouragement to your brother or sister on their journey. God will Honor His word as he did then so shall he do it now. Don't give up in the middle of the fight just remember his promises.

This is Pastor O saying you don't have to fight for the victory, you can fight from your place of victory because the victory is already ours.
